Children ages 9 to 16 participated in a "Into Orbit" competition during a FIRST Lego League 2018 regional meet. The program is a collaborative initiative between Savannah State University and Georgia Tech-Savannah.
The participants were broken out into teams of 10 children and tasked with programming an autonomous robot to score points on a themed playing field and developing a solution to a problem identified during the project.
