Online and Hybrid Master’s Degrees
Transform your capabilities and accomplish your professional goals while you learn at your own pace. Choose from our 10 online master’s degrees and three hybrid professional master’s degrees, all delivered by Georgia Tech faculty.
The Analytics MicroMasters® program is fully online and is comprised of three foundational courses from the Online Master of Science in Analytics (OMS Analytics) degree. Completing one or all three of these strengthens your application to the OMS Analytics program, as the credential may qualify you for advanced standing credit.
Who is this for? Working professionals and other adult learners who have a broad knowledge base in their fields and prefer not to pause their careers
How long does it take? Two to three years, but you have up to six years to complete
Is it fully online? Our online master’s degrees are fully online, while our professional master’s include an on-campus component consisting of nine days over the course of the program.
What credential do I get when I complete the program? Your diploma is issued by the Georgia Institute of Technology and does not note whether your program was online or in-person.
Certificates
Interested in advancing your career but don’t have the time to commit to a master’s degree program at this time? Our graduate and professional certificates are taught by experts in the field and provide learners with the opportunity to dive deep into a particular focus in a shorter time frame.
Who is this for?
- Graduate Certificates: Working professionals and other adult learners who have a broad knowledge base in their field and want to develop deep expertise in a particular discipline. Certain certificates may be accepted for advanced standing in existing degree programs.
- Professional Certificates: Adult learners of all professional levels seeking to gain specific skills in a high-demand industry
How long does it take?
- Graduate Certificates: Two semesters or less
- Professional Certificates: Varies by certificate, but learners have up to six years to complete the required courses to earn a chosen certificate.
Is it fully online?
- Graduate Certificates: Yes
- Professional Certificates: Some of the programs are offered fully online or on-site, and others are hybrid.
What credential do I get when I complete the program?
- Graduate Certificate: Georgia Institute of Technology Certificate. Credit earned can be applied toward a degree if permitted by the school in question.
- Professional Certificate: Georgia Institute of Technology Certificate of Program Completion along with continuing education credit units (CEUs).

FlexStack
Boost your skills and stand out in today’s ever-changing job market. Georgia Tech’s FlexStack combines hands-on instruction with online learning, allowing you to tailor your experience to fit your professional needs. This credential, developed and taught exclusively by Georgia Tech faculty, features a high-touch support team and career services manager. FlexStack is offered at a fraction of the cost of a traditional boot camp and is also customizable. To earn the FlexStack, you must stack three modular certificates, which can be completed in quick succession or spaced out over time.
Who is this for? Adult learners who are interested in gaining new skills through an accelerated program
How long does it take? The Georgia Tech FlexStack is made up of three Flex certificates. You have up to six years to complete a certificate after finishing your first course, which takes three weeks.
Is it fully online? Yes, it's 100% online with live, synchronous instruction
What credential do I get when I complete the program? Georgia Tech FlexStack in [Subject Domain]. Currently, the offered subject domain is Data Science Development, but Georgia Tech is in the process of developing additional offerings.
Courses
Enhance your professional qualifications, sharpen your expertise, and gain applicable skills. We offer courses that cover a wide range of subjects, including business, STEM, leadership, and special-interest subject areas.
Who is this for? Adult learners of all professional levels aiming to gain or strengthen new skills in a short amount of time. The courses can be taken individually or bundled to earn the associated certificate. Requirements vary by the certificate.
How long does it take? Varies by course, but most take two to three days.
Is it fully online? It’s up to you! Some courses are offered online (self-paced or with live instruction), while others can be taken on-site.
What credential do I get when I complete the program? Course Completion Certificate along with continuing education credit units (CEUs).
