VET² Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Program Final Project

Course Description

The Black Belt final project is a multifaceted assignment that is a long-term investigative endeavor which culminates in a final presentation to the instructor. It serves to give students the ability to take knowledge and theory they have learned in class and apply in a real-world setting.

The final project can include case studies, program evaluations, outcomes-based evaluations, surveys, or focus groups. To ensure a successful project, veterans should work with their project sponsor to choose a measurable problem that can be acted upon within 12 weeks. Prior to completing the final project, a proposal must first be submitted to the instructor for approval.
