Course Description

Become familiar with OSHA general industry safety and health standards along with general industry safety and health principles. You’ll get a special focus on the most hazardous areas. This course is a prerequisite to OTI 0501P - OSHA 501: Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry.

The only students allowed to enroll in online (Virtual Instructor Led Training) courses are either:

  • those living or working in the OSHA Atlanta Region. This includes Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and a portion of Florida. Please refer to this map for more information on OSHA Regions.

Required

  • Photo identification (present at check-in).
  • Current version of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standard which can be found on www.osha.gov or purchased through an online retailor.
