Threat Radar Systems - Basic (10.5 hrs)

Course Description

The course covers the basic theory and design of modern ground-based air defense radar systems. The course specifically addresses the transmitter, antenna, receiver, signal and data processors, and electronic protection techniques pertaining to full radar systems such as air surveillance radars, target acquisition radars, and target engagement radars. The theory and designs presented are from the perspective of threat radar systems.

Course Restrictions

This course is classified. Attendance is restricted to US citizens with the appropriate security clearance and need-to-know. All contractors wishing to attend our Need-To-Know Classified Course must have a US Government sponsor’s/contracting officer’s signature. Research Security will ONLY process Need-To-Know Certification and Clearance Form with the appropriate signature. There will be no exemptions to this policy.
