Master of Science in International Security, Online

Apply Now for Fall 2025!

The world is constantly changing. From technology and foreign policy to large-scale disasters and stability of the international system, understanding the tenets of international relations – and using them to analyze events and outcomes in world affairs – is part art and part science. Professionals who grasp the nuances and delicate balance involved are invaluable to the organizations and governments they serve.

Georgia Tech’s new online offering of the Master of Science in International Security (MSISEC) will familiarize you with global international security challenges, the influences that drive formulating and implementing security policy, and how to apply research skills to address international affairs problems.

Self-Paced Online Format

We designed the MSISEC online program for working professionals. It is 100% virtual with self-paced courses that provide you a week to view each pre-recorded lecture based on your schedule.

To ensure you stay on track, every class has an overarching timeline you must follow, including exam timeframes and due dates for projects and assignments. Faculty communicate those key dates at the beginning of the semester.
