You’ll expand your maritime expertise in our Safety and Health Standards for the Maritime Industry course. You'll receive an introduction/overview of the standards related to maritime activities, such as shipyards, marine terminals, and longshoring operations. The course will also help you in the recognition, evaluation, and control of hazards that are applicable to the industry.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for all personnel with marine terminal and/or shipyard safety responsibilities in a position of leadership in which you may have to identify hazards, recommend hazard control strategies, and assist with training efforts. Some positions could include shipyard supervisor, port engineer, ship repair supervisor or manager, facilities manager, port maintenance technician, safety technician, safety managers, shipyard or marine terminal managers, electrical managers, longshoreman, longshoreman managers/supervisors, and port safety.
